Chicken Coops are very cheap, as are the chickens themselves, but even with a full complement of chickens it may take time to pay for the investment.
Each Coop has a hard limit on the number of Chickens it can hold. You may place more than one Chicken Coop. Unlike in previous games, Chicken Coops must be purchased and placed manually on the map within an owned Parcel. The Chicken Coop allows you to breed Chickens and produce Eggs, requiring only Wheat or Barley to do so. It is one of 5 different types of Animal Pens available in the base game.
